It’s during these times of life's changes that the Scriptures come alive to me. I understand the people in the Bible were mere flesh and blood like me, with struggles, failures, good and bad qualities, and strengths just as I have. More importantly, I understand God loves me just as He loved the people of the Bible.
I can glean many lessons from the lives of those in the Bible; especially the account of David and his desire to build a temple for God. I can relate to David and then learn from him by the examples he set.
Now, I want to tell you my story in hopes that as you share my journey you will relate and learn from it, and that God will speak to you and give you wisdom and direction to navigate through your own changes.
