John 20: 21-22
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. 22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost.
There are so many things in life that cause us to be distressed and perplexed. Things happen that we just don't understand, people do things that hurt us to the core, the good we do may be unappreciated, and those who you should love you may not seem to care. Oh, we sometimes go through so much until we feel like we're in a desert, in a dry and thirsty land.
But today, Jesus speaks peace to you and me. Feel as He the breathes into you the Holy Spirit who renews, restores and gives you that second wind that you need to go on. Stand still and let Him fill you once again. Don't be fretful or frightened, just rest in Him. He's not through blessing you, He's not through using you, He's not through molding and making you. He'll give you the strength that you need to accomplish all that He has created you for.
Thank you Jesus for the breath that refreshes!!!
