Solomon

My initial interest in Solomon began as I studied his father, David.  My soon to be published book examines David's desire to build a temple for God and the circumstances around God telling him 'no', and instead giving that assignment to Solomon.   As David was well known for his heart, his son, Solomon was well known for his head.  As David was well known for seeking God, unfortunately, Solomon became well known for seeking so many other things that he was turned away from God and deemed life as vanity.   So I want you to take this journey with me this week as I examine how Solomon started out as wise and ended up a whimp.

Read First Kings 11:1-18 as we will continue to examine King David's son, Solomon next time.
