Isaiah 43: 1-3a
"But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. 3 For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior."
Beloved, today I want to let you know that trials will come, that you will go through things, and that life is not designed for us to go through on a flowery bed of ease. But, just go with the flow, don't stress or be distressed. Rest assured that you will be alright because God is with you! He created you, so he knows how much you can bear. He knows how high the to let the waters come, how deep and wide to let the rivers flow, and how hot to let the furnace be. Yes, He knows your drowning point, your melting point , and your breaking point.
God's goal is your refinement, not your destruction. He is there with you in every test and trial, in every situation and event. You are never left alone to bear it all. In everything, when you're weary, when you're frightened, when you're feeling overwhelmed just do as the old hymn says, "Just ask the Saviour to help you; to comfort, strengthen and keep you. He is willing to aid you; Jesus will carry you through".
