Life and Favor

Job 10: 12 (NKJV)
"You have granted me life and favor, And Your care has preserved my spirit."

God is soooo good. He is the giver, preserver, and sustainer of our lives. Do you know that the enemy would rather see you dead than serving God? Oh, but God has given us the victory. He keeps us, and sends His angels to bear us up to keep us from being hurt by the traps satan sets. And the Holy Spirit guides our steps, helping us to bypass those land mines designed to take our lives.

And there is nothing like the favor of God. Our redemption through the blood of Jesus Christ has put us in a position of favor with God and man, so that even when men hate us, they find themselves powerless against us. God's favor makes us the head and not the tail. It sets us above and not beneath.

We are safe in God's arms. His loving tender care keeps us in spite of the tests and trials that come our way. We are, as the song writer says, "safe and secure from all alarm". That's why Job could say of and to God, even in the midst of his world falling apart around him, "You have granted me life and favor, And Your care has preserved my spirit". Even when our bodies are being ravished by sickness and disease, God preserves our spirit. This outward man may perish, but my soul is safe in God's hands. Hallelujah!!!!
